We remodeled a newly 100 yr old home. Signature Electric took care of the entire house and did a fantastic job. Scott, the owner, also help with lighting design and placement-and it's the thing we get the most compliments on. From day one they hit the ground running, were always on time, and did fantastic work. We can't recommend them highly enough. With a project as comprehensive as ours we were nervous and made sure to do our research on everyone we worked with-all the great things we heard about Signature Electric turned out to be true and I can't imagine having worked with anyone else. They are amazing!

They exchanged our dimmer switches throughout the home, changed lighting fixture under kitchen sink, added outdoor lighting (flood lights) in the back yard - awesome, and created a great lighting design that we will hire them again for next spring once we decide what elements to select. The team is first class all the way. They can help you sort out design and functionality for an older home such as ours. I think they charge a fair price for the quality and guarantee of their service. In the past I recall that they did some consultation and work for wiring in our basement. It was great from the start. When I called, Scott told me to get the 10 year smoke detectors and that I needed a combination one for the bedroom hallway. That was very important information that helped me get the right ones. I was ready to give his an A right then. The service person who came out was so nice to work with and was very efficient. The price was also good. They do not charge a trip charge plus an hourly rate. They only charge the hourly rate of $150. I saved a lot going with this company. I will recommend them to others who are looking for an electrician. They were highly rated on Angie's list and deserve their high rating.

I've used Signature in the past for a number of things, and have always been very happy with their work.
I
this case, I'm about to commence a bathroom remodel which was going to
require the addition of 2 circuits. As my existing (original, 40 year
old) panel was full, it was time to upgrade the panel. I got an
estimate from the remodeler's electrical contractor, but really wanted
to use Signature again, so I called them for an estimate as well.

did a site survey, we agreed on a panel size and added work (rebonding
the ground would be required, and as long as we were pulling wire along
that path I opted to add a dedicated circuit for the freezer). Scott
had me an estimate within the day (fair and competitive - not the
cheapest, but appropriate for the work), and we were able to schedule
within a week.
Day of, the two electricians showed up exactly on
time, fully prepared to get things done - no forgotten parts, no
interruptions for other projects, just efficient and relaxed. Speaking
as somebody who project manages very large jobs in my professional life,
it was a joy to watch the guys work - and they do really quality,
detail oriented work.
Ran into a couple of minor issues in the
existing panel (the previous homeowner had doubled up some circuits onto
single breakers.......which is not to code and not good practice). The
guys had arrived ready to cover things like that, so after a very brief
conversation (they did a great job of keeping me informed as the went)
we added the necessary breakers.
Job was done well within the estimated time, for the original estimate - and they even cleaned up after themselves!
Very happy with the work - will be calling them again (and again, and again!)

I've been remodeling my basement and part of that was removing the old drop ceiling. Signature Electric sorted through all the wires above my basement ceiling panels and ran them through conduits, bringing it up to code so that I could finish the ceiling and get rid of the paneling in my remodel project. They put in a new circuit breaker panel and added a bunch of outlets and lights for my basement remodel.
I'm completely satisfied with the quality of the work and the professionalism of this company. This was an expensive job. I don't know completely for sure that Signature's price was the best I could have gotten, but after consulting with several companies, Signature was the only one that was unambiguously willing to tackle it. This job was clearly not your average electrician's idea of a good time, but they took the job and took the time to do it right. The ceiling looks great now.

This is the second time I've used this company for small electrical jobs in my home. Both experiences were great and I now consider them "my electricians."
In this case, I had an old floor outlet for my freestanding range. I replaced the range (the old one was original to the house - 1980!) and the cavity in the back of the new range didn't accommodate the position of the floor outlet. Signature Electric came out and were able to move the outlet into the wall, allowing me to scoot the range back as far as possible.
The electrician was punctual, curteous, and I felt completely comfortable working from home while he did his thing. He was sure to put down cloths to keep things clean and left no trace when he left (except, of course, for moving the outlet!).
Moreover, Scott's cost estimate was $1 off of the actual amount I was charged.
I'll absolutely use Signature Electric again!!!!

Troy came and evaluated the project. Alfred and Max came later and did the actual work. They arrived exactly on time, worked quietly and efficiently, and cleaned up before leaving. They were professional and pleasant. This is the third time we've used Signature and will use them again.

They added center lights and ceiling fan boxes and eliminated our switched receptacles in five different rooms. They even trouble-shooted our broken lamp post..which turned out to be a simple fix..and they fixed that for us at no charge! Awesome experience and service at a decent price! I will definitely use them again and recommend them to everyone that I know!

I'm in the process of buying a house, and Scott was very helpful to give me a call and discuss with me options of what I need to do for some grounding related issues. Extremely courteous, prompt, and professional.
Went great. Based on his feedback, he gave several practical options, and tried to consider those that would be the least expensive and didn't push a lot of expensive unnecessary work. Would definitely recommend this company.
